My name is Charlie, and I am a white, non-binary, self-taught watercolor artist, exploring many mediums since first discovering painting over ten years ago. I have never taken a formal art class, electing to learn through my practice and allowing my work to speak to me and form itself.

I explore the very concept of our nature in my work, channeling the energy I feel from mother nature from my hand into my paintings. I choose to use artwork to marvel at the interconnected aspect of existence, trying to bridge the gap in my mind’s eye with each painting.

I am constantly exploring new creative processes, while remaining focused on my watercolor practice. Creating art has been a deep passion of mine, and sharing my passion brings me the most joy.

“My fault, my failure, is not in the passions I have, but in my lack of control of them.”
